25 days until departure!

It is difficult to believe that it is only 25 days until we depart on our London adventure!  The band students now have the music for performances and rehearsals have commenced.  Final preparations are being made.  This is really happening!

This blog will be utilized to communicate with parents, family, and friends while we are on our trip.  Please subscribe to the blog if you would like to get notification when a new post is created.  I will try to post daily (internet access will determine how frequently I am able to post...keep your fingers crossed) while we are on our trip with details of our daily adventures and photos.  Lots and lots of photos!

For now, below are a few photos of the first rehearsal last Friday.  They did an awesome job sight-reading through the music together.  There are only a few more rehearsals left prior to departure, so students, please take some time to practice your individual part and mark any potential issues in your music.  This is like a professional gig...very few rehearsals and then it is showtime and there is no time to fix missed notes or rhythms!
